The BCB-clinic is a specialized, holistically-oriented day clinic that provides therapy and treatment for tick-borne diseases, multiple infections and multisystem diseases. BCB Clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Borrelia burgdorferi and other co-infections.
Over the past two decades, we have accumulated unique experience in treating patients who suffered from a wide range of symptoms and did not find relief even after undergoing examinations by various specialists. Our clients include patients from various European countries and we cooperate with laboratories in Germany, Greece, Hungary and America.
By default, a patient infected with Borreliosis comes into first contact with a general practitioner, who has the opportunity to perform basic Elisa and Westernblot tests. If it is a chronic patient, due to long-term reduced immunity, the results are often falsely negative. Patients are then usually referred to specialists (rheumatologist, neurologist) for further diagnosis. If the examinations are negative, they often end up with a psychiatrist. But psychiatric drugs do not solve the cause of the difficulties.
Treatment of Lyme disease in Slovakia is carried out according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health with antibiotic treatment lasting 3-5 weeks, or if it is Neuroborreliosis, it is recommended to take Ceftriaxone for 3-6 weeks. Some doctors then come to the conclusion that the infection is cured, regardless of the patient’s clinic and subsequent test results. If the disease was not caught in time and the treatment was insufficient, patients end up with Post Borrelia syndrome, which brings other health problems and complications.

Price list information
We are a private clinic without contracts with health insurance companies, so the patient pays the treatment itself.
The first entrance consultation is conducted with a doctor who works with MUDr. Ďurovská, PhD.
These are doctors MUDr. Chinchevych and MUDr. Ďurovský.
There is a medical history, the patient will describe his symptoms and the doctor will look at the results of the tests he has already done.
An entrance consultation lasts for 1 hour and is subject to a fee.
Part of the entrance consultation is a written test of possible coinfection, on the basis of which
the doctor recommends a subscription that is appropriate for the diagnosis and subsequent treatment.
Recommended blood tests can be performed at the initial consultation.
LTT tests for Borellia burg., Chlamydia pneumoniae,
Chlamydia trachomatis or Mycoplasma pneumoniae are sent to Germany and have the advantage that they can be done even when using antibiotics.
We will get the results of LTT tests by 7 – 10 weeks. days.
If the patient is set to therapy after consultation, he also pays the full amount for the medicines.
The patient, together with the doctor, chooses the appropriate type of therapy based on the test results, it is possible to choose between ambulant therapy and a compact therapy.
Ambulant treatment is a home-based therapy for the home- use of the indicated medication and subsequent monitoring of the progress of the therapy.
Compact therapy takes place directly in the clinic and includes an infusion of medicines and a package of supplemental treatments.
